British journalist and TV presenter Kay Burley has been announced as a Safe Haven for Donkeys patron, joining celebrities including Ann Widdecombe, Julie Burchill, and Peter Egan in the role.

The British charity's Chair of Trustees, Andy Foxcroft, said 'Her support will really help us bring our work with donkeys, mules and horses in desperate need across Israel and the Palestinian Territories to a wider audience. We are so pleased to welcome Kay to the Safe Haven team'.
